Reinhard is Director of European Operations at TCG and represents TCG in Europe. Since joining the group in 2006, Reinhard has has been a key facilitator in helping EU clients prepare for the US market. For US companies interested in business development for the EU market, he coordinates TCG‘s broad network over all European countries. Reinhard also works as a Medical Writer and Editor for large Scientific and Medical Publishers (e.g. Springer, Thieme).

Before joining TCG, Reinhard had also been involved in the development of the health card, a major component of the German eHealth system for two companies (Intercomponentware AG, Integrated Health Services GmbH). Previously, he was Marketing and eBusiness Director for PreCon GmbH & Co KG, a company focused on products and service tools for weight management in the consumer market. In that function he was responsible for planning and executing all communications and product launches.

In the late 1990‘s and early 2000‘s Reinhard was Senior Product Manager at Smith Kline Beecham Pharma creating and developing strategies for online services used by customers, physicians and the company’s sales force while coordinating with the international SB Pharma online group. Between 1994 and 1998 he was Medical Editor, Product Manager and Manager of direct marketing & sales for Springer Scientific Publishers, working mainly in marketing communications for the pharmaceutical and medical device industry.

Reinhard graduated from Christian-Albrechts-University, Kiel (Biology / Biochemistry), earned a Ph.D. from Johannes-Gutenberg-University, Mainz (Molecular Genetics) and was a postdoctoral research fellow at the German Cancer Research Center, Heidelberg. Reinhard has written numerous books and articles on marketing communication and transatlantic business development.
