Since joining TCG in 2003, Dennis has managed market development and partnering projects for US and European companies in the consumer, dental, diagnostics and surgical fields. Dennis has helped a Munich-based company launch the new ROTEM hemostasis/coagulation monitoring system to US hospitals, advised an Austrian firm about their US wound care subsidiary and supported the North American launch of Cerasorb® bone regenerative for dental implants. Before TCG, Dennis was Vice President / General Manager at Closure Corporation (acquired by J&J) for 4 years, acted as a Marketing Advisor for ACTICOAT® dressing at Westaim (now Smith & Nephew) and was President of two North Carolina venture-funded biotech firms in epigenetics and immunology.

Dennis spent 15 years at J&J rising to be Vice President, Licensing and International Development at Ortho Biotech where he supported the EPREX® launch in Europe and participated in major transactions with Xoma, Centocor and top universities. Earlier, he ran a business unit in cardio-vascular and cancer imaging, helped to develop OKT® 3 monoclonal antibody and led the launch of ACT® dental rinse for J&J Consumer Products. His career began in R&D, Sales and Product Management at Richardson-Vicks, now part of P&G products.

He is a Board member of the North Carolina Biosciences Industry Org. (NC BIO) and has been a speaker on international development and partnering at meetings like AdvaMed, NC MedTech and EuroMedtech.

Dennis was educated at Manhattan College (BS, Biology) and the Yale University School of Medicine and has taken executive courses at New York University and Duke’s Fuqua School of Business.
